Phone Call from a Stranger

Donna and I are going to have our usual Sunday dinner. We buy pasta, a jar of marinara, and some store-made meatballs from Whole Foods. So the only thing that needs to be cooked is the pasta. We heat up the marinara with the meatballs and then ladle that over a plate pf pasta. It's just spaghetti and meatballs, but it's very tasty and satisfying. We serve it with some bread that we get from our neighborhood baker, Jim at Bosque Bakery. Then we'll watch one or two movies, with an intermission for coffee and sweets. Phone Call from a Stranger, 1952, directed by Jean Negulesco, starring Shelley Winters, Gary Merrill, Michael Rennie, Keenan Wynn, Evelyn Varden and Bette Davis. A real stinker.
